School’s Out, Snacks Are In! ☀️🎒
The school bags are tucked away, uniforms are out of sight… and just like that, it’s summer! Time for sunshine, scraped knees, grass-stained clothes, and adventures big and small.
Whether you’re heading off somewhere new or just hanging out in the garden, the holidays are perfect for getting kids outside, running wild, and making memories (snacks in hand, of course).
Here are some easy, fun ways to keep them busy (and burn off some of that wild summer energy):
1. Build a Den 🏕️
Grab whatever you’ve got, a sheet, some pegs, a few garden chairs and let them build their own little world. Pirate ship? Jungle hut? You decide.
2. Go Bug Hunting 🐛🔍
With a magnifying glass and notebook in hand, you will be amazed at what’s crawling around out there. Worms, ladybirds, wiggly things. It’s all part of the fun.
3. Old-School Games in the Park⚽🎾
Rounders, cricket, a bit of football, maybe even a skipping rope if you’re feeling nostalgic. No screens, just laughs (and maybe a few friendly arguments over the rules).
4. Explore Somewhere Green 🌳🚶
Find a nearby nature reserve or park and go full explorer mode. Pack up some snacks, take your time, and just wander. It doesn’t have to be fancy; kids love a good stick and a muddy puddle.
5. Backyard Olympics 🥇🏃♀️
Think three-legged races, egg and spoon competitions, and wild sprints across the garden. Invite a few mates, hand out silly prizes, and cheer like it’s the real thing.
Now for the best bit… The Snack Break 🍫😋
After all that running, jumping, and pretending to be a jungle explorer, they deserve a well-earned treat. That’s where our Whaoo! snacks come in. Soft chocolate-filled crepes, sweet brioche buns, no faff, no fuss. Just unwrap and boom, snack time sorted.
So here’s to a summer full of grass stains, bug jars, belly laughs… and plenty of tasty treats along the way.
